About Andrew

Hi, I’m Andrew Grant and I’m a software engineer currently living in Santa Monica. I was born and raised in Scotland and while I try my best to fit into the Californian lifestyle I have yet to obtain a surfboard, a rock-hard body, or a penchant for name-dropping.

I recently joined the Los Angeles studio of Seven Studios where I’m one of the team writing the engine for a couple of upcoming projects. Until now Seven have mostly been known for games such as Shrek, Fantastic Four, and the Sopranos, but we’re now developing a new engine and working on three original IP games that I can’t talk about about yet

In my spare time I can usually be found planning travel adventures, watching movies, reading, or at the beach playing Volleyball. I also love cooking; Before a radical career change I spent several years as a professional chef at the famous Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh and their award winning restaurant, Number One.
