I’ve been taking a fairly minimalist approach to Firefox and only installing a few Add-On’s (Google Browser Sync, Adblock Plus), but I can’t believe I missed this one until today.
After installation, by clicking in the status bar you can toggle Firefox between using its own rendering engine, and Internet Explorer, to display the contents of the current tab.
This means that sites that have problems in Firefox (such as my bank, MSDN, etc) can be used without having to switch to IE. You can even set certain sites to always be rendered with IE – adding http://*.microsoft.com could be a good start!
It’s such a simple idea, but works so well. Now, what other Add-On’s are out there that I’m missing?
