    Hi Andrew,

    yes, you are right, the english subtitels are very funny but beeing from Germany I understand the stuff Hitler is talking about. First of all you have to know that the scene is take of off a great movie describing the last days of the second world war in Germany and especially in Berlin. Describing the senseless orders coming from Hitler and his fellows leading thousands of children and other soldiers into their death. Because as you might know Hitler was the opinion that either the germans have to win the war or have to die.
    I this scene he is talking about an order which was not done at all. Some of his officers did not follow him any more and thereby saved many lifes. Hitler talks about how they would end -taking a bath in their own blood- and so on.

    Therefor – for nearly all germans and all victims of the scond worldwar – taking that scene and making fun of it is tasteless…

    I do not blame you, I only wanted to tell you the german point of view…
