Hi Andrew,

I m Rozman from Malaysia. Your posts really help me a lot. I installed Kalyway Leopard 10.5.1 on my DELL M1210 (intel core 2 duo). Checked both kernels. It went perfectly well during installation. Post installation, it only runs if i disable 2 core structure. Do u have idea why this happens? Many thanx in advance.

Edvin,

This rebooting is caused by a kernel panic due to an incompatibility with your system. If you specify -v from the boot menu you will see the actual error. Try reinstalling and make sure the stock kernel options are not checked. Also try the ACPI patch, and the sse3 patch. If -v does not reveal an obvious problem you'll need to try different combos.

Okay, so I’m trying to install Leopard on my Sony VAIO with the iATKOS. I’ve gotten all the way through the install to the point where you see the green check mark that’s telling you to restart your computer. So I take out the disk and restart my computer, then it boots up and gets to where it asks my to choose a partition. I select the one I installed iATKOS on and then it loads up to the gray screen with the apple logo on it. After a minuet of loading, my computer just restarts and doses the same thing over and over again. Can anybody please HELP HELP me! :(
