The BBC News article quotes outgoing Prime Minister Tony Blair:

“We want London 2012 not just to be about elite sporting success.

“When people see the new brand, we want them to be inspired to make a positive change in their life.

I don’t feel inspired. I feel a dim sense of despair that someone, somewhere, paid £400,000 (~$750,000) of tax-payers money for that piece of crap. I mean seriously, many of the reader logos on the BBC site are far better.

And another thing… aside from the aesthetics, does anyone else notice something a little suggestive and risque about the logo?

No?

How about if I make two little additions..

Roll on 2012!
